Master on Split Hopper Barge

Seaworthy Consulting are looking for a for a Master 500t (minimum ‘near coastal’) CoC or higher, capable to act as Master on board on a split hopper barges
to join a

Rank - Master 500Gt (minimum ‘near coastal’) CoC or higher

Duties- Boat handling skills essential for access into restricted areas for dredging work.
Frequent trips with vessel from dredger to local sea disposal site each day.

Duration - Working system Mon-Friday mostly, but also working a few weekends. Mostly day working up to 12hrs, but sometimes tidal working (2 x 6hr shifts) on occasions. Client has work for the 7 months. Client will consider flexible rotation.

Location - South cost of the UK

Day Rate - £275 - £300/day + £25/day subsistence allowance for food.

Start Date - 2nd September 2024

Split hopper barge is Single Azimuth drive at stern, with azimuth bowthruster.
Accommodation on board. Accommodation recently refurbished (new wheelhouse 2021.)
