Junior Underwriter (Marine insurance) – North East England – Permanent – £25,000 – £30,000

An opportunity has arisen with a reputable insurance company for a Junior Underwriter to join their busy marine team.

This is an entry level position in the team and duties will involve providing support in the underwriting of marine insurance policies on behalf of policy holders and brokers. You will support across the full range of underwriting services from new enquiries, amendments and cancellations through to renewals.

There are no requirements to have previous experience within insurance or the marine industry so this presents the perfect opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is interested in working in insurance and/ or the maritime industry. Previous experience working in an office environment will be advantageous .
