Commercial Associate (LNG) – London (Hybrid) – Permanent – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Ship Owner in London. Our client is seeking a driven Commercial Associate to spearhead the commercial management and day-to-day operations of LNG Vessels. As a vital member of a growing team, you’ll oversee 2-3 vessels, gaining hands-on experience in LNG carrier operations and delving into the intricacies of long-term charterparty contracts and joint venture arrangements.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating shipping settlements, ensuring contract compliance, preparing operational reports, and facilitating insurance coverage for vessels. You’ll also monitor vessel performance and collaborate closely with the Ship Management Team to uphold standards and mitigate potential claims.

About You:

• You hold a business degree with a focus on maritime/transportation, economics, or business administration. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Seagoing experience as a junior officer on Tankers or LNG carriers (Desirable)
• Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office.
• A team player with keen attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in delivering timely results.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
