Fleet Services Projects Manager – London

I have a permanent staff role available as Fleet Services Projects Manager in London. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office per week.

The Fleet Services Project Manager leads the department projects execution and management and provides the Fleet Services Department and the wider business with dedicated expertise in cable installation expertise. The Fleet Services Project Manager position is a lead position in the Fleet Services Team based in the London offices. The role includes opportunities to support Offshore Operations aligned with Fleet Services project demand.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Project Engineering Development Management and Coordination:
  • To interface with Project Groups to identify and understand project-specific engineering requirements and services, demands and goals/deadlines.
  • To develop engineering Scopes of Work to meet project-specific requirements / demands.
  • To coordinate, manage and lead project-specific engineering developments with the Teams.
  • To issue a monthly Fleet Services Activity report to the wider business.
  • To coordinate and drive implementation of vessel technical and environmental improvements with the Fleet Services Interface Manager.

• Marine Equipment Spread and performance management:
  • All aspects of burial methodologies and cable protection techniques with specific focus on ploughing and ROV jetting operations technologies.
  • Implementing company strategies related to engineering improvements and investments across the fleet.

• Marine ‘know-how’, innovation, and competencies management, including all supporting documentation control and coordination of documentation.
  • To support Marine Technical documentation for business requirements (e.g. Sales & Marketing, Bidding, IPMs, Maintenance).
  • To assist the Technical Resource Manager in the management and selection of company & agency reps including covering business continuity for this service.
  • Support the management of company MIIG and Quarterly Customers IIR reviews documentation and updates.

Experience / Qualifications

• Extensive familiarity and understanding of marine installation processes.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant offshore operations experience.
• Ability to identify and manage processes coordination and solutions for multiple stake holders across the marine operations activity.
• Highly developed documentation management skills.
• Excellent computer skills are required – high level familiarity with MS Office Suite of programs including Microsoft Project is valued.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• French language skills valued.
