HSSEQ Officer – Permanent – Southampton – Competitive salary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global ship management and marine services company based in Southampton

You will ensure the companies safety culture is promoted and maintained to the highest possible standards

Responsibilities include:

• Active engagement with all employees on HSSEQ related issues
• Incidents & Emergencies – support emergency response activities
• Provide HSSEQ focused support during investigation of accidents, incidents & near misses
• Deliver initiatives for continual improvement of engagement in HSSEQ activities
• Ensure customer relations & satisfaction are continually maintained to ensure flawless service delivery
• Management & maintenance of ShipSure process
• Development & implementation of safety initiatives

Experience Required:

• Professional qualification or certification in HSSEQ related field
• Incident investigation experience
• Good working knowledge of ISM & ISPS, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS etc
• Ex-military or marine HSEQ professional
• DPA & CSO experience highly desirable
• Strong data analytical skills
