Electrical Fitter - Hampshire

*NOTE: Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to achieve UK National Security Clearance *

Our client is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join their team based in Hampshire. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the fleet through upgrades, maintenance, and support periods.

Requirements:

* Read and interpret Electrical Drawings, MDS, and Guidance information.
* Perform Electrical Testing on 12v, 24v, 110v, 240v & 440v systems.
* Execute crimping techniques and soldering.
* Conduct electrical installation, maintenance, and defect rectification as per project schedules and customer quality standards.
* Install, test, and maintain communications equipment (VHF radios, Intercom, GPS, AIS).
* Diagnose faults and rectify defects efficiently.
* Conduct detailed inspections and proficiently use measuring equipment.
* Utilize calibrating measurement equipment.

Qualifications:

* Completed a trade apprenticeship or naval equivalent qualification (Level 2&3).
* Good understanding of safe work systems, including electrical work, confined spaces, and working at heights.
* Marine or offshore experience with a strong understanding of electrical work.
