CargoKite is seeking a talented and visionary Senior Naval Architect to join their dynamic team and spearhead the design and development of a groundbreaking wind-powered ship class. As the Lead Naval Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of maritime transportation and driving our vision for a greener, more sustainable world.

The Munich-based startup, is keen on changing this by developing the sailing ship of the 21st century. CargoKite consists of a diverse team of visionaries, engineers, and environmental advocates united by a common goal: to develop cutting-edge solutions that propel the shipping industry into a more sustainable era.
The successful candidate will have:

• Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Ship Design, Marine Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in Naval Architecture, with a strong background in ship design and development
• Demonstrated experience in innovative ship design projects
• Solid skills in using CAD software
• Strong project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in written and oral English, proficiency in German is a plus.
• A positive, solution-oriented and can-do attitude.
