ROV Pilot Technician

We have partnered with an international marine services business with primary focus on ROV-based subsea survey and inspections. Our client operates a fleet that ranges from inspection to ROV and subsea tasks. Our client is in need of ROV Pilot Technicians.

We will need this ROV Pilot Technician to be responsible for:

• An ROV Pilot Technician is responsible for the on-going maintenance of an ROV.
• Assist the ROV supervisor in determining field solutions and resolving project barriers
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot ROV systems.
• Perform piloting, navigation and log keeping.
• ROV Pilot Technicians will perform various underwater tasks in support of oil and gas and energy.

We will need this ROV Pilot Technician to have the following requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of ROV operator experience is required
• High school diploma or equivalent/university or technical training
• Formal ROV operator training
• Experience and skills in electronic/electrical/mechanical/hydraulics
• Current, valid offshore medical certificate

This person must have a desire to learn and get involved in new and novel area is necessary for success with Faststream and our client.
