Faststream has partnered with a Global Oil and Gas industry leader that is looking for an Area HSE Manager.
The Area HSE Manager position will be located in Houston.
Essential Job Functions for the Area HSE Manager:
- Provide HSE support to Sr. HSE Manager and Operational Counterpart.
- Manage HSE program for multiple offices and project locations and ensure adequate staffing and training of the required HSE resources.
- Serve as a technical resource to provide direction on HSE policies/procedures, and for interpreting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Assist in providing strategic direction and management, people development, and HSE program development and implementation.
- Directly supervise Site/Project/Program HSE Managers.
- Ensure mandatory training requirements are consistently met, and develop customization and implementation planning.
- Perform HSE audits and site inspections relative to the Company's needs.
- Maintain 3rd party databases to include but not limited ISNetowrld, PICS and NCMS.
- Planning HSE into the company projects and office locations (SEP's, OHSEP's, PTSA's);
- Performing Audits including CSE's and Inspections;
- Measuring HSE Performance;
- PRS Management including tracking/trending incidents;

Education and Experience Requirements for the Area HSE Manager role:
- Bachelor's Degree in safety or other related field preferred; or advanced technical training in a related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Professional designation (i.e. P.E. ASP or CSP) meeting qualifications of a national or international certifying agency; or actively pursuing such designation;
- 7+ years of experience including supervisory experience at a site-specific level; advanced technical training and/or advanced HSE certification with Bachelor's Degree in HSE related field preferred
- Experience using HSE Management Systems and processes.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA for any employer other than your current employer.
