Project Manager (Maritime/Defence) - Liverpool - Permanent - £45,000-£60,000 + Benefits
A global leader in high-speed workboats for defence and security markets, is seeking a dynamic Project Manager. In this role, you will provide expertise and leadership across various projects, ensuring seamless coordination from concept to delivery. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in meeting technical specifications, timescales, budgets, and quality standards, requiring essential technical knowledge and marine experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Full project oversight, taking ownership of all tasks within the project.
Assist in planning before and during projects, monitoring project performance and providing input.
Ongoing review of staffing, budgets, and project schedule.
Liaise among different departments, senior managers, and suppliers.
Offer support to other departments and managers.
Externally, responsible for the success of economic and technical planning, implementation, delivery, and completion of a project to the customer.

Competence, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
Excellent planning and monitoring skills with a minimum of 2 years marine experience in project management.
In-depth experience in project delivery from defining specifications to operational delivery.
Understanding of HR/Quality policies & procedures within a manufacturing workshop.
Degree in a relevant engineering subject or time-served experience.
Hold suitable qualifications in project management within the engineering/manufacturing industry (PRINCE2).
Successful candidate must achieve full SC (Security Clearance).
