Electrical Engineer – Permanent – London – Competitive Salary

Our Client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in London. In this role, you will perform engineering design review and analysis for major projects or smaller, less complex projects, demonstrating a thorough understanding of engineering principles. You will offer technical guidance, resolve complex problems, and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work both independently and collaboratively to provide expert support to clients and maintain the Clients Quality System requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct detailed engineering reviews of plans, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
• Provide technical advice to field operations and technical offices.
• Address moderately complex issues and propose innovative solutions.
• Draft accurate and timely reports and communications.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve technical problems.
• Prepare weekly reports and billing for work performed.
• Communicate workload status within the team.
• Implement and maintain the Clients Quality System requirements after undergoing training.

What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering with an electrical systems specialization.
• Preferred qualifications: Masters or PhD graduates.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in electrical equipment installation in hazardous areas.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, arrangements, and Dynamic Positioning Systems.
• Understanding of fundamental classification and quality concepts.
• Competence in complex problem-solving.
• Strong command of the English language, both oral and written.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
