Service Contract Manager (marine)

Service Contract Manager – Poole – Permanent – £ Competitive

Navis Consulting have a great opportunity for a hard working individual that enjoys developing relationships with clients and working across multiple functions. You will be in charge of managing blue-chip client accounts building on new and existing relationships. You will be supporting the service engineers on the vessels as well as liaising with stakeholders on completion of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently ensure the fulfillment of all contractual service commitments throughout the Service Support Agreement’s lifecycle.
• Identify, actively pursue, and provide quotes for new business and expansion opportunities, which may include emergent projects, upgrades, and broader scope initiatives, ensure these ventures are profitable, technically compliant, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Guarantee that the contract’s crucial financial targets align with business expectations and are consistently achieved.
• Build strong customer relationships, working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders to meet service and spare parts requirements, ensuring contractual obligations and customer expectations are met.
• Manage key stakeholders to achieve service support agreement targets, including resource allocation, spare parts logistics, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all interactions align with contracted services, effectively managing customer expectations.
• Lead internal and customer contract meetings and oversee accurate and timely invoicing, along with effective cost and variation order management.
• Respond promptly to technical and operational inquiries, driving issue resolution through verbal or written solutions and, when needed, consulting with technical experts.
• Review service engineer reports, summarizing findings and managing follow-up actions.
• Promote a culture of health and safety with both customers and attending engineers.
• Support contract renegotiation with data-driven insights.

Candidate requirements:

• Provide out-of-hours emergency coverage when needed.
• Confident in presenting data for internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail with previous experience managing multi-million pound contracts
• Technical knowledge to ensure successful service delivery
• Experienced in Services delivery and SLAs
• Marine/Cruise experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills and can communicate fluently in English verbal and written
• Deliver high standards in a fast paced environment
• Confident in leading a team
• Being commercially and financially astute
• Driving license and passport
• Happy to travel occasionally
