Senior Engineer Technical Support, CNG & Compressor – Poole – Permanent – £ Competitive

Navis Consulting have a great opportunity for a hard working individual interested in managing a team and expanding their customer network. You will be providing technical solutions to customers whilst building on existing and new relationships. You will have a team of service managers you will be in contact with making sure they have all equipment and scheduled needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical expertise in High-Pressure Gas Systems
• Manage CNG and Compressor product portfolio and ensure growth and profitability winning new contracts outside of current scope
• Manage the development of the needs your CNG team require
• Make sure you and the team are delivering an outstanding level of customer service and develop service contracts to increase scope and profitability
• Co-ordinating with third party contractors when needed
• Ensure all QEHS policies and regulations are being followed
• Liaise with development team and make sure its within their development discussion and mandatory company course requirement are achieved
• Maintain service resource planning tool
• Manage provision of CNG SLA emergency ‘out of hours’ cover
• Invoicing all service interventions
• Quote and sell CNG field service work to grow the department and market share
• Contribute to solving quality issue working with the QEHS engineer to drive solutions

Candidate requirements:

• Development management skills
• Project management and ability develop product knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Cost awareness and effectiveness
• Teamwork skills
• Solid understanding of QEHS requirements
• Confident in making decision and delivering confidently to the team
• Extensive compressor knowledge
• Marine offshore experience would be an advantage
