Your Role: Senior Buyer
Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Salary: Negotiable

Key Duties:

As a Senior Buyer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.

2. Commercial Development: Collaborating with the commercial team to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.

You may also:

* Develop a department supply chain data base of global providers for offshore construction and heavy transport vessels alike.
* Review and assess commercial and contractual aspects of variation order requests.
* Liaise with department and project staff in relation to purchasing requests and keep them informed on technical, price and availability matters.
* Perform other departmental duties as necessary when departmental members absent.
* Ensure activities comply with Government acts and statutory regulations.
* Any other duties within own experience and capability as advised by Department Manager.

Additional Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

1. Proven Vessel Chartering Experience: Demonstrated experience in vessel chartering within the offshore industry.

2. BIMCO Charter Party Contracts: Proficiency in negotiating and working with BIMCO charter party contracts.

3. Membership in Purchasing Institute: Preferably, you are a member of a recognized purchasing institute, showcasing your commitment to professional development.
