Field Service Coordinator – (Hants)

Field Service Coordinator – Permanent – Fareham, Hants – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in innovative technologies and lifecycle solutions for the marine & energy markets.

This role might suit a Merchant Navy Marine Engineer or an experienced Service Engineer who is now looking to settle into a full time office based position with less travel.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and coordinate commissioning and/or complex Field Service activities relating to maintenance of large, medium speed Diesel Engines
• Assist with preparation of service quotations and ensure jobs are kept within budget.
• Brief Service Engineers on job requirements and debrief Service Engineers on completion of work being carried out
• Review Service Engineers’ reports are of a high standard (edit where necessary)
• Supervision of Field Service teams: maintaining the morale and team spirit of staff through regular feedback, ensuring that all members of the division are fully familiar with the company QEHS policies and regulations.
• Play a leading role in ensuring that all work carried out is to ISO 9001/2000 standard.

Experience Required:

• Experience working as Field Service Engineer and are now looking for a position in the office or Merchant Navy Marine Engineer 3rd Engineer or higher looking to move ashore
• Must be capable of coordinating an overhaul also on technical level
• Should have excellent communication skills and customer relations
• Excellent problem solving & decision making skills
• Hold full UK drivers license
