Mooring Engineer

Experienced Mooring Engineer (Sustainability) - Kingston Upon Thames (Contract/Permanent)

A leading Sustainability company based near Kingston Upon Thames is recruiting for a Mooring Engineer to join the team on a Floating Wind Project.

The role can be either a contract (outside IR35) or a permanent position with the option of Hybrid working:

3 days a week in the office/ 2 days at home.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

* Performing Naval Analysis works and developing technical solutions to support design requirements.
* Interfacing with other engineering disciplines.

The successful candidate will;

* Be a qualified Naval Architect with design experience in mooring systems.
* Hold a strong understanding of hydrodynamics, structural analysis, and the design of floating structures and their mooring systems.
* Be able to produce hand calculations and use Orcaflex.
