Senior Shipping Analyst - Middle East

Our client who is a global leading energy transportation company is currently recruiting for a Senior Shipping Analyst to join the team based in the Middle East.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

* Responsible for maintaining and enhancing a range of specialised spreadsheets that monitor the performance of existing vessels.
* User of important external platforms by mastering basic functions and accessing multiple databases to perform complex tasks and obtain valuable results.
* As requested by the Head of Commercial Analysis, you will perform macro and micro economic analyses on potential commercial transactions, such as acquiring LNGC and LPGCs.

The successful candidate will have;

* Experience in the shipping industry and familiarity with shipping terminology, fundamental and charters concepts such as associated economics and standard voyage calculations.
* Understanding of diverse analytical models and methodologies.
* Experience in economic analysis and possess strong analytical skills.
* Skilled in utilising Microsoft Office software programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
