Junior Logistics Shipping Clerk – Perm – London

We are looking for an individual to work within the Logistics department for a leading shipping company. No Shipping experience is required, as training will be provided, with also opportunities being available to progress through the company and develop a career in the shipping industry.

Duties will include:

• Resolve invoice queries.
• Check and approve all haulier and feeder operator invoices.
• Complete weekly, monthly statistics reports for head office.
• Handle additional haulage charges and disputes.
• Despatch haulage order.
• Maintain system cost data.

The successful candidate will be:

• Must have the legal right to work in the UK, without sponsorship
• Good IT, organization and communication skills
• Experience in shipping/logistics or customer service within office environment will be an advantage
• To be honest, responsible and punctual, to be able to work on your own initiative as well as to be a great team worker

This role is working full-time hours. A competitive salary is offered, along with an excellent benefits package.
