Our client is seeking a Survey Delivery Manager to join the Bathymetric Team at their UK base.

Part of the wider Scientific Analysis Group, the team is made up of specialists with different levels of experience.

The role is to manage the groups involvement in Hydrographic Programmes and emerging hydrographic professional services. The post holder will also be required to act as a Charge Surveyor and Field Manager for surveys and act as a Client Representative for contract surveys.

You will provide hydrographic support to the wider Bathy team, coaching on best practice and offering technical advice and guidance.

The post will require the ability to travel in support of the survey programme, both in the UK and abroad.

HPAS Level 0/1 or degree level hydrographic surveying qualification from an FIG/IHO/ICA Category A or B accredited course with comprehensive survey experience in the field including the use of swathe bathymetry sensors and associated systems is required.

The post will require the ability to travel in support of the survey programme, both in the UK and abroad. As such an ENG1 is essential and STCW Basic training certificates would be preferred.

You will be able to demonstrate the depth and currency of hydrographic survey experience and will have a passion for seabed mapping as well as having an appreciate of the wider utility of updated bathymetry, particularly in the context of developing nations.

The successful applicant will be required to go through Basic Personnel Security Checks which will include right to work, and a criminal record check, and you will also be required to apply for Security Clearance. The position is open to UK, British Commonwealth and EEA Nationals but the successful applicant must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 12 consecutive months within the last 5 years.
