Marine & Vetting Officer (LNG) - Permanent - London
A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence are recruiting a Marine & Vetting Officer to join their team in London.
Duties will include;
* Uploading VPQ in OCIMF Website and sharing report with Vessels
* Preparation of detailed compatibility and terminal interface studies to include running mooring analysis using Optimoor Software prior to calling at a new LNG terminal
* Prepare documents for Vetting clearance of various Terminals
* Provide Senior Management with Vessel Condition reports / Annual Visit report.
* Review vessels performance under supervision Voyage Manager and ensure follow up action.
* Co-ordinate in arranging remote VDR, remote CCR CCTV Audit and external Nav Audit
* Review Marine related MoCs and ensure follow up under supervision of Marine Manager
They are looking for an individual who;
* Has a desire to drive continuous improvement in maintenance and operational condition of companies existing and new vessels
* Understanding of FSU/FSRU Operations Proficient with company software applications
* Expert in ship-shore and ship-ship (STS) Compatibilities.
* Preferably educated as and had experience as a marine deck or equivalent to Class 1, degree level or equivalent to the satisfaction of the General Manager/Managing Director
* Sailing experience as 2nd Officer

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
Please sign up for STCW courses and obtain the certificates if you don't have them yet.
