Stores Operative – Perm – Poole

A leading Composites and GRP Manufacturer are looking for a Stores Operative who will be responsible for overseeing all deliveries at one of their sites in Poole, distributing the goods internally and updating the system with goods received.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for goods in ensuring that deliveries are accurately received, checked and recorded on the system.
• Stock control and allocation of materials.
• Updating systems with allocations and highlighting material shortages.
• Supporting month end activity, including stock checks.
• Stock rotation.
• Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
• Assisting with Yard duties – unloading and loading deliveries and internal distribution of goods.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment, is familiar with inventory management systems and adhering to Health and Safety rules. A Forklift license would also be desirable.
