Electrical Engineer (Boatbuilding)

Electrical Engineer- Northampton - (Office Based)- Competitive Salary

A leading boat builder is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join their office in Northampton to aid with the integration of electrical system design and engineering within the department.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Producing drawings to full production level (including schematics and technical routing).
• Liaising with external suppliers, the internal purchasing team, and the production team.
• Managing the company's assets and crews on the project to ensure the maximum utilisation of the vessels.
• Elaborating and clarifying detailed technical concepts to meet the client's requirements that are agreed upon with suppliers.
• Proving and testing new products both at sea and in the factory.

The successful candidate will;

• Design and practical experience within the yachting industry is preferred.
• Experience with PLM is desirable.
• A high level of commercial acumen.
