Marine Engineer – East Sussex – Permanent

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Marine Engineer to join a luxury Marina based along the coast of Brighton. The successful candidate will work in a close knit team and be familiar with leisure marine applications.

They are the main agents of Volvo Penta, Mercury and Yanmar marine and the ideal candidate would have previous experience with these specific products. They are a dynamic company and can promise an exciting career!

Responsibilities:

• Be willing to travel to other local marinas (Driving license required)
• Know how to operate and maintain marine engines.
• Have experience of working and diagnosing issues with SI and CI engines.
• Have experience of working on large and small Diesel engines in leisure craft up to a maximum of 60ft
• Know 12V electrics and be able to troubleshoot and complete basic wiring jobs
• Be able to communicate with colleagues in a professional manner.
• Be able to communicate and take direction from supervisors and be able to work under pressure.
