HSSEQ Manager – (UK)

HSSEQ Manager – Permanent – UK – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading ship management company based in the UK. Ideally London or Glasgow.

The purpose of this role is to provide ownership & accountability for Group-wide program and campaigns that assure compliance with, and delivery against, all current and projected legislative, industry, and client standards and best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the company’s safety culture is promoted and maintained to the highest possible standards
• Active engagement with all employees on HSSEQ-related issues
• Deliver against all group programs, campaigns, objectives, and projects that support achievement of HSSEQ performance
• Act as HSSEQ lead for all external audits and internal assurance programs incorporating industry standards (ISM ISO, ISPS etc)
• Act as HSSEQ lead for cluster investigations of accidents, incidents & near misses

Experience Required:

• Professional qualification or certification in HSSEQ-related field
• Recognized DPA & CSO qualifications
• Recognized incident investigator qualifications
• Significant experience in a management role
• Good working knowledge of ISM & ISPS codes, other standards (MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS, ISO etc)
• Strong data analytical skills
