Account Executive (Marine) – Cardiff

Marine Account Executive – Permanent – Cardiff, UK – £34k – £38k OTE

This is an exciting, newly developed position for someone to step in and immediately contribute to a rapidly growing sales team. This is an inbound sales role so there will be no cold calling. You will receive a good base salary and ability to earn upcapped commission.

Responsibilities include:

• On-board new customers, walking them through our innovative reporting platform and analytics dashboards.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and an understanding of what’s happening in the industry so that you can drive continuous client engagement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with allocated accounts to ensure the business continues to meet the expectations of its customer base and to encourage growth across a broad range of accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and details of all allocated customer account activity through the company’s CRM system.
• Gaining feedback to assist with product development.

Experience Required:

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills are absolutely essential to the role.
• Ability to build trusting relationships to encourage return custom.
• Flexibility and willingness to go ‘above and beyond’ in a 24-hour industry.
• A friendly and personable style with a desire to succeed.
• Some marine/maritime experience is essential for the role.
• 2-3 years of account management experience (preferable)
• A resilient and strong character to amicably resolve issues.
• Experience with Hubspot CRM is desirable.

Must have right work in the UK to be considered

There will be an expectation to be in the office 2 or 3 days a week so you must live within a reasonable commute of Cardiff
