Operations Superintendent

A leading Tankship organisation with a global presence are recruiting an Operations Superintendent to join their team in London.

Duties will include;

* Responding to operations related correspondence from vessels and others and necessary follow-up
* Attend vessels worldwide to supervise operations and monitor vessel condition and ships staff compliance with management policies, international, state and local regulations
* Monitors on-board navigational practices and provides guidance on navigational issues when appropriate
* Work closely with the Superintendent Engineer and provide operational advice to the Fleet Team
* Carry out and assist as required with risk assessment procedures and accident / incident investigations and reporting
* Identifying areas for improvement and submitting proposals to Manager for consideration and forwarding to the HSEQ team

They are looking for an individual who;

* A good team player with very good time management skills
* Previously sailed as a Chief Officer or above

*To be considered for this role, you MUST be based in the UK/have the immediate right to live and work in the UK*
