Senior Mechanical Designer*- Permanent - (Cumbria Area) - Competitive Salary

A leading Defence company is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join the design team and support them in producing 3D models to support the manufacturing, installation, and testing of the companies products.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Using CAD Tool-sets to produce 3D models.
• Producing outputs (including 2D drawings) in a timely and efficient manner.
• Working as a team to produce an integrated design, that meets the agreed clients requirements.

The successful candidate will have;

• Knowledge of mechanical routed systems (2D and 3D level).
• Understanding of CAD Tool-sets and techniques (Auto-CAD, Solid-Works, etc).
• Experience with technical drawings.
