HSEQ Superintendent (Tankship) - Permanent - London

A leading tanker company with a global presence are recruiting a HSEQ Superintendent to join their team in London.

Duties will include;

• To monitor ship's Audit Programme and safety returns, including accident and near miss reporting. Ensuring all occurrences are dealt with by the appropriate person in a reasonable time to the appropriate level.
• Liaise with and ensure that the company internal auditor is kept up to date with company developments relating to performance and the integrated management system.
• To perform inquiries and investigate accidents and hazardous occurrences as directed by the General Manager.
• Plan and hold monthly Safety Meeting, if requested by General Manager.
• To assist in the development and conduct of the Health and Safety at Work programme, including the development of HSEQ department Aims and Objectives

They are looking for an individual who;

• Previously sailed as a 2nd Officer or above.
• A good team player with very good time management skills.
