Starting 01.06.2023, we are looking for a

Technical Superintendent (m/f/d).

Sea-Eye e. V. is a civil aid organization that was founded in 2015 to no longer stand by and watch people dying in the Mediterranean Sea. With our rescue ship SEA-EYE 4, we search for people in distress on the world's deadliest migration route and fight against the daily loss of life at sea. Because we are convinced:

Our departments are located all over Germany, so we mainly work from home offices and our collaboration is digital and by phone.
Ship and Fleet Management is the technical, nautical and operational management of our ship, to which this position belongs.

TASKS

• Coordination of ship operations in consultation with Fleet Management and the shipping company
• Management and supervision of technical processes
• Planning of maintenance and repair work in consultation with the ship's technicians
• Provision of spare parts and operating materials
• Development and description of processes and standards
• Personnel planning in cooperation with other units
• Budget planning and budget responsibility

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a technical education and experience in the shipping industry
• Fluent communication in German and English
• You have a high willingness to travelConfident handling of EDP (Word, Excel)
• Willingness to relocate/ German Address necessary
