Maintenance Engineer – Perm – Portsmouth

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for periodic inspections of MHE and cranes and related equipment, informing the manager of required work/parts to order/damages/required repairs and ensuring that compliance records are maintained and completed.

Joining both the workshop material handling and crane maintenance teams, you will also be tasked with assist with electrical and mechanical maintenance when required. You will also be joining an on-call rota and at times supporting the MHE team out of hours or on call, 1 week out of 4, covering evenings, nights or weekends.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of repairing general mechanical handling equipment
• Experience of working at height and using MEWP’s.
• Current clean driving license.
• Able to manage deadlines, work as an individual and part of a team.
• Computer literate including Microsoft office applications.

This role is working 40 hours, with Overtime at time and a half rate and call out payments. An excellent benefits package is also on offer.
