Underwriting Assistant (P&I) – Singapore – Permanent – $60,000 – £80,000 SGD

An opportunity has arisen with a leading marine insurance company for an Underwriting Assistant to join their busy team.

The role will be administrative in nature and will require you to provide assistance to the Underwriters, dealing with P&I, FD&D and war risk insurance on behalf of policy holders and brokers. You will assist the underwriters with full range of underwriting services from new enquiries, amendments and cancellations through to renewals.

Applicants should have a small amount of experience as an underwriting assistant, ideally within the P&I market. At the very least you should have relevant education relating to marine insurance and a good basis of knowledge about P&I cover.

A good starting salary and package is on offer to the successful applicant and the opportunity to join a market leader within the marine insurance market.
