Sales Director – Crewing

Overall Purpose of The Job: To drive growth, retention and customer satisfaction across crew management services. To deliver the planned Group growth agenda with country offices for the Crewing segment. To act as guardian of operational strategy and execution, and Crewing segment profitability and pricing.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Lead in the growth programme of all Crewing Services
2. Deliver on Crew Management net vessels target
3. Deliver on Crew Supply target
4. Contribute to growth in Ship Management and Marine Services revenue target
5. Ensure a long-term crew services pipeline is maintained to meet growth expectations
6. Direct and work with country managers to evaluate potential business opportunities, establish targets, prepare business development plans and ensure effective implementation once approved.

Required Experience:
ESSENTIAL:
Education to degree level or equivalent relevant sector experience at a senior level.
Shipping and ship/crew management experience.
Growth track record and contract negotiation skills.
Regular travel is a requirement of this position.

DESIRABLE:
Knowledge of client products and services.
Instinct for identifying and landing new business.
Existing relationships with shipping companies.
