Global Recruitment Manager (Cruise) – Permanent – Southampton/Monaco – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global leader in ship management. The role has oversight responsibility for the overall recruitment and selection process for all shore-based opportunities within the Leisure Department. The role can be based in either Southampton or Monaco.

This role has direct responsibility for the recruitment and selection for a broad range of Deck & Engine and Hotel and Entertainment roles, and over time will lead and drive the development of the overall recruitment function charter, strategy and structure in support of this.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management of shore-based recruitment activities on a global basis for the division, including setting recruitment strategy in conjunction with key colleagues in Leisure Recruitment Department across the business
  • Forecast future needs in conjunction with clients or internal planning teams, constantly adapt to manage short and long terms recruitment needs.
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy approval through to colleague onboarding.
    Management of relationships with third-party partners – recruitment agencies, social media and job board partners, etc. including supporting Crew Director in negotiations of prices with vendors and contracts’ management.
  • Record and report on recruitment performance – Cost per hire, time to hire, quality of hire, aged vacancies, source analysis. Over time use HR dashboard metrics to inform and challenge the effectiveness of the recruitment model/approach
  • Ensure that global recruitment processes and policies are compliant with the legislation of the territories in which the company operates.

Experience required:

  • Significant direct sourcing and networking experience in a similar role is required. Cruise Line experience strongly recommended.
  • Strong experience of assessing and selecting the best possible talent
  • Previous experience of in-house recruitment is essential
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency; with the ability to switch priorities quickly where required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence and partner with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders internationally
  • Relevant experience in a high-growth, fast-paced service business is highly desirable
