General Machinist – Dartmouth, Devon

£26,000 p.a. – £30,000 p.a.

Established in the this company has grown to become one of the leading specialist engineering organisations in the UK. With Design, Fabrication and Machining facilities all in-house they can offer a full service from initial concepts right through to final delivery and installation.

Job Description:
General Machinist (Engineering) reporting to the Machine Shop Manager.
Main Duties:
* Manufacturing of machined components on manual Lathes and Milling machines according to engineering drawings.
* Use of measuring equipment.
* To assist in other areas as required. Candidate Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience in machining/manufacturing an advantage but not essential for the right applicant.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail whilst displaying a can-do attitude.
* Willingness to learn and work well as part of a team.

Location/Hours: Dartmouth, Devon. Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm
