Marine Engineer – Exeter, Devon

£25,000 p.a. – £35,000 p.a.

We are currently looking for a Marine Engineer to join an expanding team.

Our clients are a leading independent refit, repair and maintenance service centre providing high-quality service and workmanship.

Main Responsibilities

· Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines and transmissions / drives / generators

· Perform mechanical repair work such as: – engine removal, servicing, fitting.

· Overhaul or replace engine components such as blowers, generators, distributors, starters, pumps, electrical and fuel systems.

· Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, waste systems, and electronic equipment.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

· Experience of working with boats and vessels.

· Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.

· Good team player and excellent communicator.

· Understanding of quality processes.

· Ability to listen, understand & follow instructions.
