Job Description: Marine Operations Coordinator (Dredgers) - Permanent - South Coast, UK - Competitive
A leading Dredging organisation is recruiting for a Marine Operations Coordinator to join their operation based on the South Coast.
Reporting into the Marine Operations Manager, main duties will include;
- Maximising the revenue delivered by the Company's fleet of aggregate dredgers to achieve efficient vessel utilisation.
- Responsible for the administration and organisation of port dues.
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with port authorities.
- Communication with third parties where necessary, to assist with material supply to their customers.
- Assist where required in general marine administration including crewing logistics
The ideal candidate will have a marine or logistics background with exposure to marine logistics programming or will have worked offshore.
You will be capable of dealing with a variety of issues and to provide guidance and instruction to resolve them, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
