Our client is the leading integrated oilfield services provider in the offshore market. Its services cover each phase of offshore oil and gas exploration, development and production. Its core business segments are geophysical services, drilling services, well services, marine support and transportation services.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Marketing and Contracts Supervisor is responsible for analyzing tenders, coordinating bid preparation, market analysis and maintaining compliance with the company's Marketing and Commercial policies.
  • The Marketing and Contracts Supervisor also assists with the client's business development and customer loyalty efforts.
  • The incumbent reports directly to the Manager of Marketing and Contracts division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Marketing & Contracts Supervisor's accountability is a key element of the company's Health and Safety Framework. To achieve our client's Zero Incidents, Zero Harm core value, leaders and employees across the entire organization must take accountability for health and safety.
  • Ensures the day to day implementation of the client's IMS policies/procedures relevant to Marketing Department's activities (i.e. tendering, contract and services procurement).
  • Maintain an updated contract status of the company's fleet and competitor units in their
    target markets, including pricing trends.
  • Maintain demand and activity forecasts for target markets.
  • Maintain and update of the company's databases.
  • Maintain Marketing Department's information and archives for tenders, bids, contracts and other record.
  • Focal point for preparation of responses to Market Surveys, Pre-qualification Exercises and similar client enquiries.
  • Marketing Department's focal point for tender reviews and coordinating bid preparation activities, including liaison with other departments as required.
  • Communicate/liaise with customers for marketing and business development and matters relating to existing contracts.
  • Focal point for coordinating the collection of customer feedback and analysis/ management of information collected.
  • Responsible for compiling reports (routine and ad-hoc) from Marketing Department to HQ and other recipients.
  • Assist in organizing industry events, developing promotional activities and materials, as required.
  • Reports directly to and assists Manager - Marketing & Contracts in the day to day management of Marketing Department's activities.
  • Any other duties assigned by Manager - Marketing & Contracts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree highly valued.
  • 5-10 years of oilfield experience, preferably in drilling or related services.
  • Familiarity with drilling equipment. Candidates with strong network of clientele within the oil & gas industry are highly desired.
  • Good knowledge of commercial matters relevant to the contract drilling industry.
  • Knowledge of contracts and contracting models highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office suite and other business software).
  • Able to travel extensively.
  • International experience and understanding of international markets.
  • Candidate must be willing to commute to Tuas on a daily basis. Shuttle services will be provided by the company at several pick up points island wide.
