Role: 2nd Engineer

Nationality: British / European National only

Rotational: 3 months on / off (Permanent)

Joining: 1st week of March

Operation: Falkland Islands

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a new build Fisheries Protection Vessel (FPV) to operate from the Falkland Islands.

Responsibilities:

• Carry Out Engine Room Watchkeeping Duties
• Compliance with ISM / MARPOL / SOLAS
• Compliance with Flag and Port State Requirements
• Operation and Maintenance of High-Speed MTU Engines
• Operation and Maintenance of 3x CAT Generators and Dual Thrusters
• Assist Chief Engineer in preparing vessel for classification and statutory surveys and ship’s operational routines duties and day to day worklist.
• Qualifications
• III/2 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)
• All STCW Certification required for the Position
