We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our Sales Team and help drive rapid and sustainable growth. As a Sales Executive, you will manage new business opportunities and be responsible for the full sales cycle from initial contact to close. Our industry-leading range of online product services generates quality B2B leads from various industries and sectors worldwide.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage prospective accounts through the full sales cycle
  • Sell to commercial organizations and governments across various industry verticals
  • Manage your pipeline and account base in Salesforce CRM
  • Keep Salesforce CRM updated with sales activity, meetings, pipeline, forecasting, etc.
  • Demonstrate services through video conferencing with a confident telephone sales manner
  • Accurately calculate quotations, handle invoices and license agreements
  • Gather and report business and market intelligence and industry trends
  • Share customer feedback and communicate product and service opportunities with internal teams
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines and services, becoming an expert in handling big data and web-based software resources
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets and lead contract negotiations
  • Execute business development activities to grow the customer base through prospecting and cold calling
  • Travel 2-4 times a year to represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Report sales results to the Regional Sales Manager on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

Requirements:

  • 2 years of sales experience in a technology vendor selling solutions (API, Data, Cloud, Software, SaaS)
  • A successful track record of selling complex products through a consultative approach
  • CRM experience, specifically with Salesforce
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • A history of exceeding targets and working to KPIs
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proficiency in a second language is a plus
  • Aptitude for prioritizing, planning, and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to address customer concerns
  • A collaborative approach to working with others
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, maritime domain experience is a plus

Nice to Have:

  • Maritime & Shipping domain experience
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin
  • Good understanding of the APAC market and cultures
