We are looking for someone to join our Bachmann Ports team as an Assistant Harbour Master.

The requirement is for a seagoing qualification, not necessarily as Master. This role is working for Bachmann Ports in support of the Port of Tilbury, London.

We require a suitable qualified person who has served at sea and possesses a nautical qualification to join a skilled team working and controlling harbour operations at the port. This job will be to lead the team of contracted staff working at the port and to act as deputy to the Harbour Master.

The Port of Tilbury is expanding rapidly and the role will encompass the operation of the original locked port as well as Tilbury 2, the new ro/ro facility on the Thames

This role is offered with a competitive salary and benefits. It is a 9-5, Monday to Friday position that will require some occasional overtime.

The role requires a right to work in the UK.
