Logistics Shipping Clerk – Permanent – UK

We are working with a leading shipping company who are looking for an individual to join their Logistics Department in London. The successful individual will be comfortable on the phone, customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills.

With operations in various offices across the UK, it is a good opportunity for someone join an industry leader which can offer clear professional development opportunities.

Some duties for this position include:

• Monitor and control equipment to ensure sufficient stock available for export.
• Monitor and control equipment and means of transportation necessary for efficient movement of cargo between shipside and customer’s premises.
• Ensure efficient, accurate and timely production of export matters.
• Resolve invoice queries.
• Check and approve all haulier and feeder operator invoices.
• Complete weekly, monthly statistics reports for head office.
• Handle additional haulage charges and disputes.
• Despatch haulage order.
• Maintain system cost data.

The successful candidate will have experience in shipping/logistics or customer service within office environment and also a full UK right to work.
