Quality Assurance Coordinator – Permanent – Glasgow – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable shipping company based in Glasgow.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Lead Quality Assurance Officer and administration of the Quality Assurance systems and programs within Gas Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain vessel inspection (SIRE, Flag) planning sheet.
  • Schedule and arrange vessel inspections (SIRE and Flag).
  • Communicate vessel inspection planning and arrangement with the vessel and operations team.
  • Make applications for SIRE inspections via OCIMF booking portal.
  • Update vessel inspection (SIRE, PSC, Flag) KPI sheet.
  • Send PSC inspection reports to Bahamas flag administration for the Bahamian vessels.
  • Monitor and ensure vessels are maintaining updated certificates in OCIMF repository.
  • Processing of vessel inspection invoices.
  • Upload PSC reports into OCIMF data repository.
  • Upload crew matrices into OCIMF portal.
  • Input data into internal and external reports (monthly and quarterly reports).

Experience Required:

  • Preferably experience working in a comparable role with similar systems (e.g., Q88, OCIMF SIRE).
  • A high level of competency in using MS applications and database entry.
  • Strong organizational skill.
  • Excellent attention to detail and work ethic.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sea going experience as deck officer (Advantageous)
