Facilities Manager (Electrically Biased) – Permanent – Essex

As an electrically biased Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the management of safety, projects and contractors of a wide range of mechanical and electrical infrastructure across a leading Ports estate. This will include the high and low voltage power networks, and all other jobs that come through the Port Engineering helpdesk.

Other duties include liaising with staff, customers and contractors on a daily basis, preparing reports and budgets, when necessary, along with managing capital projects and utilising the various Port computer systems. Also tasked with organising and maintaining accurate maintenance records to ensure compliance with legislation and ensure that important tasks are completed within required timescales.

Training will be provided to achieve Senior Authorised Person (S.A.P.) status if required.

The successful candidate will have:

• HNC/HND or NVQ equivalent qualified with a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship completed
• Comfortable working at height and within confined spaces
• IT literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Full Driving License and own transport

This role is working Full time hours Monday to Friday, with the requirement to occasionally work unsociable and or additional hours if needed. A competitive salary is offered, along with an excellent benefits package.
