Bunker Broker

This company have huge ambitions to take the industry to the next level and are looking for a Bunker Broker to be part of that change.

Working in a fast-growing company you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, closing deals, onboarding new customers from our vast database of leads, expanding our supply network and promoting new technology features.

As their new Bunker Broker you will be exposed to both long term strategic business challenges and daily customer interaction. As a key early employee you will make a meaningful contribution to the bottom line and the progression of the company as a whole.

We continue to bring new products to market at a fast pace, generating an exciting sales environment. This role is a unique opportunity to capitalise on our traction.

As we deal with customers from across the globe, working hours can be unpredictable and communication is key.

Ultimately, your contribution will be measured by deals closed and revenue generated.

Requirements

• Bunker or shipping market experience.
• A basic understanding of oil prices, credit and counterparty risk.
• Comfortable on the phone and making cold-calls.
• A likeable, energetic character that easily builds relationships with people.
• Experience onboarding new customers and closing deals.
• A passion for international commodity and shipping markets.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presenting.
• Speak and write fluently in English.
• Fluent in another language besides English (beneficial but not required).
