Base Manager (Marine)

Base Manager (Marine Operations)- Permanent- Marine Engineering Ontario/ Canada

A leading leisure craft boating holiday provider is recruiting a Base Manager on a permanent arrangement, helping with the operations and management of the base and it's engineers.

Other duties will include (but are not limited to);

• Taking operational and commercial responsibility for the performance of the company and the base.
• Managing, motivating, and leading the team to drive operational improvement and efficiency to support future growth plans.
• Ensuring all engineers all fully equipped and trained to ensure the fleet is maintained and serviced accordingly with Health and Safety procedures as per the company policy.
• Taking a hands-on approach to all tasks at hand, including practical duties such as fleet maintenance.
• Ensuring that all customers are briefed in-depth and understand how to operate the boat safely during their stay.

You will work well as part of a team and be a good communicator and strive for perfection and growth.

You will have experience within the Maritime/Leisure industry with appropriate operational and management experience.

You will have a passion for the industry and good organisational skills.
