Crew Coordinator – Permanent – Amsterdam – Competitive Package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable ship management company based in Amsterdam.

The Crew Coordinator monitors and manage all fleet personnel issues. Working in a multi-national environment, the official language will be English.

Responsibilities include:

• Systematically monitors the effectiveness of verification and inspection activities within the department and fleet
• Manage all crew aspects onboard vessels
• Prepare crew change plan in case the vessel is not sufficient
• Manage department policies
• Close contact with the vessels as per company standards. Update the vessel regarding crew change plans.
• In charge of crew changes all over the world. Ensure they are done accordingly as per company policies and in the most economical and efficient way
• Make travel arrangements for sea employees and superintendents
• Update and maintain crew personal files
• Ensure crew certificates are up to date and comply too all national regulations (STCW/Flag etc.) and company regulations
• Implement and improve the safety culture throughout the fleet in order to achieve the company HSSE objectives of zero accidents/incidents

Experience / Qualifications:

• Good computer skills
• Marine background in a similar position
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in multicultural environment
• Ability to work under pressure and 24/7 availability.
