Field Service Engineer – Permanent – Germany

As a Field Service Engineer, you will focus on the following duties:

• Service and Commissioning within the area of Navigation Systems, according to our client's requirements and our warranty obligations
• Being involved in the test drive, and if needed, travelling with the ship as a warranty engineer
• Presenting and handing in the equipment systems to the ship owner, the shipyard as well as the classification societies
• You will perform system checks of complex equipment or constructions in Shipbuilding projects
• You will coordinate and carry out the bringing into service as well as any needed changes
• You will carry out any repairs and installations which include any needed configuration / parameterizations and order processing

Requirements:

• Preferably holding a bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area (electrical engineering) or equivalent
• Multiple years of relevant work experience
• Hands-on attitude with an organised way of working
• Social and intercultural skills
• Willingness to travel frequently worldwide
