Electrical Engineer – Permanent – Southeast

As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise for a range of port assets and systems in the delivery of projects, maintenance, and inspections. You will be working within a team to provide maintenance on assets such as Mobile Harbour Cranes, Material Handlers, Port Vehicles, Lock Gates, General Port Equipment and Port Infrastructure including Electrical Distribution Equipment, while upkeeping health and safety on these projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent by means of an Engineering Apprenticeship
• HNC or equivalent within an Engineering discipline
• Experience of industrial plant and infrastructure maintenance
• Comfortable working at height and within confined spaces
• Basic IT and computer skills, including excel and word.
• Full Driving License and own transport

This role is working a shift system with rotational shifts covering 24 hours, 7 days per week. A competitive salary is offered, along with an excellent benefits package.
