Technical and Marine Assistant (LNG) - Permanent - London - Competitive

A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence is recruiting for a Technical and Marine Assistant to join the team in London.

Reporting to the Fleet Team Manager, this role is primarily responsible for:

• Supporting the designated Fleet Team with technical and marine matters, working with Vessel Managers and Voyage Managers.
• Assisting on-site with costs, safety and others as required and agreed with VeM.
• Assisting with OPEX budget preparation.
• Completing monthly post meeting reports for Charterers / Fleet.
• Working with Voyage Manager on Marine Projects and vessel updates.
• Completing SIRE reports, ensuring the information is updated in ShipNet and OCIMF website.
• Assisting in preparing various reports as required, such as vessel utilisation, shareholder meetings
• Monitoring Office visits to the vessel and update information in ShipNet.
• Updating Movement list and issue Safety Incentive letter.
• Filing all Marine documents in the relevant location.
• Reviewing and approving Appraisals of junior crew staff.
• Assisting with Internal PMS Audits.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar capacity within the Shipping industry, along with a Degree in an industry-related subject

You will have excellent written and verbal English skills, have strong inter-personal skills and be a good team player.
You will also have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
