Brokerage Manager (Yachts)

Yacht Brokerage Manager – Chichester – Permanent- Basic £25,000 with an OTE £50,000

Navis Consulting are looking for an individual with a passion for sales within the yacht sector and ability to run a team. Based along the south coast, our clients wants a unique individual with the drive to deliver a high quality service to join their team and develop on relationships within the yachting sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively soliciting new boat listings
• Promote sales within the local area and across company
• Develop/maintain relationships with clients, customers and other brokers
• Develop strategy to generate sales to ensure targets are met
• Budget appropriately
• Actively showing boats to potential customers and assisting with sea trials
• Organize maintenance of boats
• Take responsibility of all documentation relating to sale of a boat
• All processes and records are followed and kept within office
• Attend boat shows

Requirements:

• Recent yacht sales experience in new and used boats
• Experienced in managing and setting up brokerage team
• Ability to encourage and develop a team
• High customer service skills and ability to negotiate to close a deal
• Good knowledge of local marinas, clients, boats, sailing clubs etc.
• Attention to detail and strategic budgeting
• Knowledge of power and sailing craft
• Outgoing personality, proactive in sales and flexible within environment
• Strong IT skills
• Follow H&S procedures and regulation within the marine industry
